Annemieke has more than three decades of international experience in board rooms, operating at the intersection of technology, compliance and entrepreneurship. After her university studies she joined payroll services provider ADP. After having worked as an executive recruiter, she decided to fully focus on technology and innovation as an IT entrepreneur. Annemieke studied Dutch law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on fintech, blockchain technology and compliance. Annemieke is well travelled and speaks four languages fluently.

Leonard has over 30 years of auditing, corporate finance, general management and investment banking expertise. He has been active as a sustainable entrepreneur and investor for more than 15 years and before that he was active for more than 10 years as a corporate finance and M&A consultant, in which capacity he completed a multitude of transactions in numerous sectors. He began his career at investment bank Barclays de Zoete Wedd (later Credit Suisse) in London and auditor Moret Ernst & Young (later EY) in Rotterdam. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, the UK, the US, and Indonesia. Leonard graduated with honours from the University of Buckingham with a BSc. in Business Studies and from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a MSc. in Business Economics and a MSc. in Information Management. Subsequently, he successfully completed the postdoctoral degree Accountancy. He is a RA (Dutch Chartered Accountant) and a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and member of both the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants and the American Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He was awarded Dutch entrepreneur of the year in 2011.

Ad has studied physics and did his PhD on Wind Energy and Electricity Production at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where he worked as a researcher and Associate Professor. Currently he is Emeritus Professor Future Energy Systems at TU Delft, the Netherlands. Since 2011 van Wijk has been affiliated with TU Delft as Professor Future Energy Systems. His research focuses on the energy systems of the future, especially concerning research on hydrogen energy systems. He is the founder of ’the Green Village’’ at the TU Delft campus. Moreover, Ad is Guest Professor at KWR Water Research Institute where he is responsible for developing and implementing the research program Energy and Water. Besides being the architect of the EU hydrogen strategy, Ad is advisor to numerous governments and a multitude of renewable energy companies and initiatives. In 1984, van Wijk founded the company Ecofys, which eventually grew into Econcern. Econcern developed many new sustainable energy products, services and projects, such as the 120 MW offshore wind farm Princess Amalia, several multi-MW solar farms, solar cell manufacturing plant Solland and bio-methanol plant. Ad has received many important prizes for excellent entrepreneurship and awards for technology innovation. He was awarded Dutch entrepreneur of the year in 2007 and Dutch top-executive in 2008.

Prior to joining New Sources Energy N.V., André was active as media entrepreneur. He was director and owner of Factotum B.V., which company he sold to Vivenda Media Group N.V. (VMG). André remained involved with VMG and from 2007 to 2010 during which period he served as the Chief Executive Officer. From 2010 to 2012 he served as board member of VMG. Over the last 10 years he has been building off-the-grid houses in South Africa as an ecological property developer.
